About this role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Edge team at Cribl, you will focus on enhancing the Windows experience for Cribl Edge, a multi-platform agent for edge-based data collection. - Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
- Strong understanding of Windows internals — services, registry, WMI, event logging, permissions models, and installer technologies (MSI/MSIX)
- Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging skills, including comfort with Windows-specific tooling (Event Viewer, Performance Monitor, procmon, WinDbg)
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Professional experience developing software using TypeScript and Node.js, ideally with experience building Node.js applications that run as Windows services
- Experience using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP
