What you need

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be licensed to operate motor vehicles in accordance with Georgia Law
7+ years of progressive transportation technician experience with a state highway agency
Construction experience on at least five (5) complex bridges
At least one representative project with stay cable bridge construction or cable replacement
Inspection experience on structural steel bridge erection

Nice to have

Master’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or construction management
OSHA 30-hour certification
Experience serving as the owner’s lead steel inspector on a bridge package exceeding $100M
Experience inspecting fracture-critical steel members
Experience with construction management and document control software
