What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in railroad, transportation operations, or construction/industrial safety
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, FRA, Cal/OSHA, and applicable construction and transportation safety regulations
- Experience conducting field safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and compliance reviews
- Experience supporting active construction, transportation, rail, transit, or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of incident investigation methodologies, hazard mitigation techniques, and safety management practices
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or Construction Management
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
- Experience supporting transit, freight rail, railroad, or rail infrastructure safety programs
- Experience supporting safety oversight activities on major infrastructure, transportation, transit, or rail construction projects
- Experience supporting hazardous materials, respiratory protection, or environmental health and safety programs
