What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, construction engineering, or engineering management, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of project management experience for large (> $500M), complex, heavy-civil infrastructure projects
- Experience managing scope, budget, schedule, and risk on capital projects from design through construction and closeout
- Working knowledge of construction contract administration, including submittals, requests for information, change management, and progress payments
- Experience coordinating designers, contractors, agencies, utility owners, and other third parties across the life of a project
- Experience with industry standard project/construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Unifier, Kahua, etc.)
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, construction engineering, or engineering management
- Active professional certifications and licenses such as PMP (PMI), CCM (CMAA), and/or PE
- Experience serving as the owner’s project manager on a contract package exceeding $100M in construction value
- Experience managing multiple concurrent task orders or contract packages on a program exceeding $1B in construction value
- Experience negotiating change and claim resolution with contractors on the owner’s behalf, including entitlement and impact analysis
