What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years’ experience providing office engineering, contract administration, or document control support on large (> $500M), complex, heavy-civil infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with construction estimates, review and approval processes, construction compliance requirements, and common construction materials, methods, and procedures
- Experience working with contract documents, technical specifications, and construction drawings
- Experience with electronic document management and collaboration platforms (e.g., Procore, e-Builder, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam Revu, SharePoint, etc.)
- Experience with industry standard project / construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Unifier, Kahua, etc.)
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or architecture
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE), or Architect Registration (AIA)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, Construction Documents Technologist (CDT), or Associate Constructor (AC) certification
- Experience on transit, aviation, or water/wastewater programs delivered through alternative delivery (CM/GC, design-build, progressive design-build, or P3)
- Understanding of public agency procedures and contract compliance requirements (e.g., FTA, FAA, DOTs, etc.)
