About the role
VP Controller - Senior Finance Leadership
Addison Group is seeking a VP/Controller to serve as a key financial architect for one of the most dynamic financial services/lenders in the country. This is a very stable and fast-growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of financial reporting, forecasting, and controls, including SOX compliance, audit-ready accounting, and US GAAP guidance.
- Focus on fair value loan and debt accounting.
- Oversee the full accounting function: A/P, A/R, month-end close, and the loan funding process.
- Drive automation initiatives and own the financial systems roadmap.
- Manage SEC and internal management reporting.
- Contribute to annual budgeting and investor materials.
- Work a 40-hour week.
Qualifications:
- CPA required.
- 8+ years of accounting leadership experience in financial services.
- Strong SEC and SOX credentials.
- Experience as a builder: scaling infrastructure, developing talent, and thinking like an operator.
- Experience in lending, real estate, or mortgage finance is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 per year + Bonus
