About this role

What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6+ years of experience in utility coordination, preferably on transportation infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of utility systems (water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecommunications) and related policies
- Ability to read and interpret plans, profiles, and construction documents
- Proficiency with utility mapping and plan review tools (e.g., Esri ArcGIS, Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu)
- Proficiency with project/construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Unifier, Kahua)
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in civil engineering or construction management
- Active professional certifications such as Certified Utility Coordination Professional (CUCP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- 8+ years of experience in utility coordination on transportation infrastructure projects
- Experience with large, complex, heavy-civil infrastructure projects
- Experience negotiating utility agreements with utilities and municipal departments
