What you need
- Real, working knowledge of accounting fundamentals: double-entry bookkeeping, chart-of-accounts design, financial statements (P&L, balance sheet), and reconciliation/audit requirements.
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with a track record of owning data-model design for correctness-focused systems.
- Strong instincts for extensible system design — schemas and APIs that can grow with new requirements.
