What We Need
Our client, a health and wellness education company, is seeking a contract Marketing Designer and Web Specialist. You will be responsible for day-to-day design execution across email, web, paid ads, and content. This role involves direct collaboration with the Head of Marketing, making you the primary builder and shipper of creative assets across all channels. It is a high-output, hands-on position requiring the design of emails, website updates, content posting, ad creative building, and contributing UX insights. We need an individual who can work quickly, follow direction effectively, and proactively suggest improvements in design and user experience.
Experience in a startup or small team environment, where you managed multiple design responsibilities independently, is strongly preferred.
What You'll Do
Email Design
- Design and build marketing emails and lifecycle flows using Klaviyo or similar ESPs.
- Create templates, modules, and one-off campaign emails based on briefs and promo calendars.
- Perform QA checks on all emails before live deployment, including links, formatting, and mobile rendering.
Website / HubSpot CMS
- Update and maintain website pages within the HubSpot CMS.
- Post and format blog content.
- Implement landing page updates for promotions, campaigns, and product launches.
- Provide UX recommendations, flagging and proposing solutions for user flow improvements.
Paid Ad Creative
- Design static and motion ad creative for Meta and Google campaigns as required.
- Build variations for A/B testing across copy, visuals, and formats.
- Develop creative based on briefs while applying an understanding of high-performing paid channel visuals.
Copy Support
- Write and edit short-form marketing copy for emails, ads, web pages, and CTAs.
- Adapt messaging across different channels, ensuring brand tone consistency.
- Comfortably write clear, conversion-oriented copy.
Social Content Editing
- Clip and repurpose existing video and webinar content into social-ready formats (reels, short clips, carousels, stories).
- Add captions, text overlays, and basic motion graphics using tools like CapCut.
Ad Hoc Design Work
- Create presentation decks, one-pagers, event materials, and other business needs.
- Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Experience
- 4+ years in marketing design, with experience across email, web, and paid ad creative.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot CMS or similar (WordPress, Webflow).
- Proficiency in building emails with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar ESPs.
- Strong portfolio showcasing versatility across digital channels.
- Experience in a startup, small team, or agency environment requiring multi-hat wearing.
