As a Senior Product Manager at ShipIn, you’ll lead the development of commercial solutions from concept to launch and scale. This is a unique opportunity to build a product from the ground up in an emerging business area for ShipIn, shaping how cargo operators manage performance and efficiency through data and technology. You’ll be responsible for driving product discovery, defining MVPs and long-term roadmaps, and working closely with engineering, design, and commercial teams to deliver a solution that creates measurable value for ShipIn’s customers. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a builder’s mindset: curious, entrepreneurial, and comfortable navigating ambiguity to bring new ideas to life. Reporting to the CPO, this role plays a pivotal part in defining ShipIn’s next growth chapter and expanding our impact across the maritime industry.Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product discovery from identifying market problems to defining the MVP scope.
- Conduct deep market research and stakeholder interviews to validate hypotheses, define value propositions, and refine product-market fit.
- Build the product roadmap and execute through close collaboration with engineering, design, and commercial stakeholders.
- Define pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy in alignment with company goals and customer insights.
- Establish metrics for success (customer adoption, ROI, performance improvement) and continuously iterate based on feedback.
- Serve as the internal product champion, communicating strategy, milestones, and outcomes across the organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in SaaS or data-driven B2B products.
- Proven experience leading zero-to-one or new product discovery initiatives.
- Background in maritime, logistics, industrial operations or Enterprise Resource Planning is a strong advantage.
- Experience launching and iterating enterprise analytics or operational platforms.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Data-driven decision maker with experience leveraging BI insights and KPIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Logistics, or related); an advanced degree is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity, and strong ownership over outcomes.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
