Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Partner, Strategic Hiring is a senior recruiting partner responsible for leading executive search and strategic hiring across Nava’s most business-critical roles. This role blends executive recruiting with proactive talent mapping, helping Nava identify, engage, and cultivate high-impact talent before roles formally open.
This person will lead full-cycle recruiting for executive and strategic positions while also serving as a talent intelligence partner to the business. They will proactively map talent markets, identify emerging skill needs, and build long-term relationships with executive and specialized talent in support of future hiring demand. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, understands evolving business priorities, and can create structure where none currently exists.
Success in this role means consistently delivering strong executive and strategic candidate pipelines ahead of demand, reducing time-to-fill for critical roles, improving quality-of-hire, and building trust with senior leaders through proactive, insights-driven recruiting and talent market intelligence.
What you'll do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for executive, strategic, and business-critical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate management, and offer negotiation
- Serve as the primary executive recruiter for senior leadership and high-impact strategic hiring across Nava
- Partner with executives, Practice leaders, and hiring stakeholders to define talent needs and align hiring strategies with business priorities
- Build and maintain long-term pipelines of executive and strategic talent for future hiring needs
- Conduct talent mapping across target markets, competitors, and industries to identify top talent, emerging skill sets, and hiring trends
- Proactively identify and engage passive executive and specialized talent before requisitions open
- Support confidential executive and leadership searches with strong discretion and candidate stewardship
- Deliver market intelligence and talent insights, including compensation trends, competitor activity, talent availability, and hiring risks
- Act as a strategic advisor to hiring leaders by translating market insights into proactive hiring recommendations
- Build trust with stakeholders through strong communication, transparent partnership, and high-touch executive search support
- Maintain accurate candidate, pipeline, and market data within ATS and sourcing systems
- Continuously improve sourcing strategies, executive hiring readiness, and pipeline quality
- Ensure hiring practices align with Nava’s values and commitment to inclusive, equitable hiring
Required Skills
- Executive recruiting, strategic sourcing, or full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Experience leading executive search and recruiting for strategic, leadership, or hard-to-fill roles
- Experience building passive candidate pipelines and cultivating long-term relationships with executive and specialized talent
- Experience conducting talent mapping, market research, and competitive intelligence to inform hiring strategy
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing hiring decisions through strategic talent insights
- 7+ years of experience in executive recruiting, strategic sourcing, or full-cycle talent acquisition
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of professional experience and training
- Strong executive search and candidate assessment skills
- Strong research and sourcing skills using LinkedIn, Google X-Ray, Boolean search, and talent intelligence tools
- Experience using ATS platforms such as Greenhouse
- Strong market mapping, compensation benchmarking, and talent segmentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and pipeline management skills

Compensation
$125,000—$135,000 USD

- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to meet any other requirements for government contracts for which candidates are hired
