Box Office Attendant - Part Time
Marcus Theatres is seeking a part-time Box Office Attendant to join their team. This role offers competitive starting pay, variable shifts, free movies, and amazing growth opportunities.
About the Role
Under the direction of the theatre management team, the Box Office Attendant is responsible for providing support in the theatre and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. Tasks will be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner. This position reports to a member of the theatre management team or General Manager.
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
- Complete transactions by greeting each guest, identifying their request, completing loyalty transactions, and thanking them.
- Ensure the security of all box office cash and tickets.
- Communicate and enforce various theatre policies, including location-specific Curfew Policies.
- Meet sales expectations through loyalty card sign-ups, suggestive selling, upselling, and sampling.
- Distribute and understand how to operate assistive movie-going equipment.
- Operate point-of-sale terminals, process transactions, and make accurate change.
- Perform daily maintenance duties, including stocking supplies.
- Ensure guest service is friendly, helpful, and fast.
- Enforce ratings to prevent underage guests from accessing auditoriums with adult content.
- Answer guest questions and resolve concerns.
- Uphold Marcus Theatres' high standards and execute company-wide programs.
- Assist with other functions as instructed by management.

Physical Requirements:
