Spark Summit Virtual Program - August 6-7, 2026

Join Liberty Mutual’s Spark Summit — a two-day, immersive virtual program for college freshmen and sophomores exploring careers in technology. Taking place Thursday, August 6 – Friday, August 7, 2026, Spark Summit offers hands-on skill building, exposure to real-world engineering practices, and meaningful connections with Liberty Mutual technologists, leaders, recruiters and peers. Participants will sharpen technical interview skills, practice practical engineering techniques, learn about diverse career pathways in tech at Liberty Mutual, and gain early access to interviews for the 2027 TechStart Summer Internship Program.

What to Expect

  • Hands-on skill building: Interactive sessions and exercises designed to strengthen technical, analytical and problem-solving abilities you can use immediately.
  • Technical interview preparation: Practice and feedback to help you prepare for technical interviews and internships.
  • Career insight and mentorship: Hear from senior leaders and engineers about career paths in software engineering and related fields, and connect with mentors and recruiters.
  • Networking and community: Meet peers, current interns and Liberty Mutual employees to build relationships that can help shape your tech career.
  • Internship interview access: Learn about the TechStart Summer Internship Program and receive early access to interviews for the 2027 intern class.

Qualifications

We encourage current full-time undergraduate freshmen and sophomores to apply if you:

  • Are pursuing or exploring a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technology field.
  • Demonstrate strong technical aptitude, analytical thinking, communication skills, and a desire to learn and collaborate.
  • Are fully authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions now and in the future.
