Director, Manufacturing Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Manufacturing Operations based in the United States.

This role will lead manufacturing strategy and operational execution for commercial and late-stage clinical pharmaceutical assets.
You will shape manufacturing plans that balance quality, supply continuity, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and commercial readiness.
The position works across regional operations, supply chain, program leadership, and CMC teams to translate business priorities into executable manufacturing strategies.
You will oversee critical activities spanning contract manufacturing, process development, technical transfers, validation, and production planning.
A key focus will be strengthening the global CDMO network while identifying opportunities for cost savings, supply redundancy, and process improvement.
You will also lead and develop manufacturing engineering talent while serving as a technical authority with external manufacturing partners.
