Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab & Acute Care
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an assignment in Arlington, Texas. This role focuses on helping patients regain or improve daily living and work skills after injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. You will treat in-patient rehab and acute care populations across various settings including neuro, ortho, telemetry, and ICU, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Active Texas OT license required; no temporary licenses.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience, including in-patient rehab and/or acute hospital settings.
- Experience with in-patient rehab evaluations and treatments for neuro and ortho patients.
- Experience with acute care evaluations and treatments including ortho, telemetry, and ICU patients.
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system is preferred.
- Adherence to facility dress code (hunter green scrubs) and professional appearance policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in rehab and/or acute hospital settings.
- Prior experience floating between units as needed.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 8 hours, 0800–1630.
- Weekend schedule: Rotating weekends.
- Floating: May be required to float to other units.
- Documentation system: Meditech.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
