Job Description

Ingénieur Logiciel Bas Niveau - Linux et Virtualisation (F/H/X)

Are you passionate about the core of Linux and virtualization? Then this opportunity is for you as you will work on the hardware abstraction layer (HAL) of a critical platform.

Your Challenges

  • Virtualization & Abstraction: Implement the Linux virtualization layer to bridge the gap between hardware (standard servers) and critical applications.
  • Resource Management: Ensure container hypervision and system resource management to guarantee availability.
  • System Architecture: Create an abstraction that masks hardware complexity for the client, managing multiple servers and channels.

Profile Sought

This position is for you if…

  • You have a hybrid technical profile: a Safety/Security background combined with advanced "Sys Admin" skills.
  • You have experience in low-level development or integration on embedded Linux.

Essential Knowledge

  • Expertise in Embedded Linux and low-level OS layers.
  • Mastery of Virtualization / Hypervision (e.g., containers, XEN/KVM) and resource management.
  • Good knowledge of Networking.
  • Awareness of Functional Safety (Safety).

Your Personal Qualities

  • Technical Rigor: Essential for managing the hardware abstraction of a critical system.
  • Curiosity: To work on hypervision technologies for rail safety.

Why Join Us?

You will join an existing team on an innovative project aimed at porting safety applications to standard servers via virtualization. This is an opportunity to work on the technologies of tomorrow (SIL4 Virtualization).
