Journeyman Electrician - Special Projects
Cummings Electrical is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team for special projects. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints (mechanical, layout/on-line drawings).
- Determine appropriate sizing for pull boxes and J-boxes based on wire specifications.
- Calculate wire size based on amperage and voltage drop requirements.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including equipment, devices, conduit, and wires.
- Bend and install conduit of 3 inches or larger.
- Terminate the inside of Transformers, Switchgears, Generators, UPS systems, Lighting control panels, and Control Panels.
- Safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds regularly, with or without accommodation.
- Stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
- Perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required.
Qualifications
- Active Journeyman Electrician License is required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Demonstrated skill in a commercial and/or industrial construction environment.
