Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints (mechanical, layout, and on-line drawings).
- Determine appropriate pull box or J-box sizes based on wire capacity.
- Calculate wire size based on amperage and voltage drop requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, including equipment, devices, conduit, and wires.
- Bend and install conduit of 3 inches or greater diameter.
- Terminate internal components of Transformers, Switchgears, Generators, UP's, Lighting control panels, and Control Panels.
- Safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds regularly, with or without accommodation.
- Stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
- Perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required.
