About The Role
The City of Sydney's Sustainable Sydney 2030-2050 vision is for a sustainable future where everyone does their part to respond to the climate emergency. The Sustainable & Resilient City team helps deliver this vision and our Environmental, Resilience and Waste & Circular Materials Strategies. By engaging business and communities through programs, partnerships, grants and advocacy, we support the transition to a more sustainable and resilient Sydney.
This is an exciting time for the team as we refresh our roles to align with the evolution of our programs and partnerships. We're looking for exceptional candidates that are keen to innovate, scale transformational outcomes and accelerate progress to our ambitious targets.
This position leads the promotion, management and evaluation of our Environmental Grants Program, engaging target sectors and audiences to innovate and ideate high impact projects and collaboration partnerships to achieve our sustainability targets. This position also coordinates grant-funded projects focusing on the residential sector, working with residents, committees and partners to deliver high impact sustainability and resilience projects. The role will provide practical guidance to grantees, curate resources, and collaborate across teams to maximise outcomes for apartment communities. This role requires engagement outside of standard business hours to enable meaningful engagement.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
