About this role
As a Senior Platform Engineer at Pair Team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports various product teams. What you need
- 5+ years of software engineering experience as a high-performing individual contributor, building and operating production backend systems
- Deep expertise in Ruby on Rails with strong understanding of both application and data layers
- Strong relational database skills, including data modeling and query optimization
- Experience building and operating platform-level capabilities such as authentication/RBAC, jobs and queues, CI/CD, deployments, integrations, and other shared services
- Ability to work across the application and infrastructure layers
- Proven experience tackling the hard parts of production engineering
