What you need

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in compliance, AML/CFT, regulatory compliance, risk management, financial crime, internal controls, legal / regulatory advisory or a similar role, preferably within financial services, fintech, crypto, payments or another regulated environment.
  • Understanding of, or strong interest in, AML / CFT, KYC, EDD, sanctions, PEP, Travel Rule, customer due diligence, regulatory reporting, marketing compliance and customer protection controls.
  • Familiarity with MASAK and SPK regulations/requirements.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical operational processes, controls, documentation, customer communications and product / system requirements.
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risk patterns, control gaps and process weaknesses.
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented and able to manage documentation, trackers, controls and multiple workstreams accurately.

Nice to have

  • Background in technology-driven, fintech, financial services or regulated environments; crypto experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience or strong interest in reviewing marketing materials, campaign terms, customer-facing communications, product documentation, website / app content, research content or regulatory disclosures.
  • Familiarity with compliance databases, case management systems, screening tools, reporting systems, data analysis or workflow automation is a plus.
