What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a field engineer, project engineer, or similar role on mechanical construction projects
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, including CRAH/CRAC, chillers, piping, and BMS/controls
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical specifications, and equipment schedules
- Experience writing and managing RFIs and change orders on a construction project
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to track multiple open items across a fast-moving job site
Nice to have
- Experience on data center or other mission-critical facility construction projects
- Familiarity with commissioning (Cx) processes and how RFIs/change orders affect FPTs and IST
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam)
- OSHA 30 certification
