What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, production operations, or industrial environments
  • Demonstrated experience improving shop floor processes, labor efficiency, or production output in an electrical equipment assembly environment
  • Proven cost savings results based on project and process improvements
  • Proven ability to create or refine routings, work instructions, or process documentation based on real production conditions
  • Experience leading or supporting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
  • Familiarity with fixtures, jigs, or practical tooling improvements relevant to panel and switchboard fabrication

Nice to have

  • Experience with UL891 switchboard, control panels, and UL67 panelboard manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with UL listing and labeling requirements, follow-up service inspection procedures, and maintaining production compliance within a UL-certified facility
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics365, Odoo)
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and visual management systems; Green Belt or Black Belt as a plus
  • Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, and NFPA 70E as they relate to switchboard and panel construction
