About this role

The Strategic Solutions Engineer at MISUMI Americas will work closely with strategic customers to provide technical guidance on complex CNC machining and sheet metal manufacturing needs. This role involves leading discussions to translate customer requirements into manufacturable solutions, performing detailed design for manufacturability reviews, and supporting the transition from prototype to production. The engineer will also collaborate cross-functionally and leverage AI tools to enhance engineering workflows and customer interactions.

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing roles such as CNC, Sheet Metal, or Die Casting

  • Prior experience working with external suppliers or contract manufacturers
  • Experience integrating AI/LLM tools into engineering or customer-facing workflows
