What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 4+ years of experience developing and testing electromechanical products
- Basic proficiency with CAD and FEA software packages, preferably NX
- Strong grasp of the fundamentals of electrical and mechanical engineering
- Experience configuring and operating data acquisition systems and instrumentation, and post-test data processing
- Experience running electromechanical system tests
Nice to have
- Familiarity with high performance electric vehicles, solar cars, Formula SAE, or similar
- Exposure to sheet metal manufacturing, CNC machining, CAM, 3D printing, and shop tools
- Experience creating detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Experience performing product environmental testing (shock and vibe, thermal, humidity, corrosion, EMI, and UV)
- Experience with NI hardware, LabVIEW, Dewesoft, Vector, CAN tools, or similar DAQ and test systems
