What you need
- Minimum of 6+ years of design engineering experience with ownership of contract document development for physical security and/or low-voltage systems
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Core technical expertise in access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems
- Strong understanding of A/E deliverables and phases (SD/DD/CD, RIBA Stages), CSI-format specifications, equipment schedules, and construction administration submittal processes
- Ability to develop and implement internal tools (web applications, BIM add-ins, scripting/automation)
- Detail-oriented technical author with strong critical thinking skills
Nice to have
- CDT (Construction Documents Technologist), PSP (Physical Security Professional) or CPP (Certified Protection Professional) certification
- Familiarity with the Revit API, BIM workflows, version control, and modern AI-assisted development tools and practices
- Familiarity with Apple OS, Google Suite, Bluebeam, Revit/AutoCAD, Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project, Procore, PlanGrid, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
