About the role
Overview:
Lead the company’s technical engagement with industry organizations including AMCA, ASHRAE, and other regulatory and standards-setting bodies. Provide technical leadership across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Application Engineering functions. Lead complex cross-functional development initiatives involving fan products, engineering tools, software applications, and emerging technologies. Mentor and develop engineering talent while strengthening the company’s technical capabilities and industry influence. Support strategic customer relationships through technical consultation, troubleshooting, training, and product co-development. Help position Twin City Fan as an industry thought leader and preferred technical partner within the air movement and control industry.

Technical Requirements (Must Be Able To Do Day One):

Essential Experience:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering related to fan design and application engineering.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in product development, application engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory testing, product qualification, and validation.
- Strong working knowledge of AMCA, UL, ISO, CE, seismic, and related standards affecting fan products.
- Experience working directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
- Experience serving on AMCA, ASHRAE, or similar industry committees.
- Knowledge of testing instrumentation and laboratory operations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to high places, fumes or airborne particles and/or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the plant environment is usually loud.

Compensation & Benefits:
As a Staff Engineer you will be offered pay of $140,000-$160,000 dependent on experience. You will also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus tied to overall performance of the organization.
