About the Role
The Training Department at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company is integral to connecting customers with our software. This position's primary goal is to facilitate a seamless conversion to the Reynolds and Reynolds system, providing comprehensive training and support throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires approximately 80% travel, working both independently and with a team to install and convert software for customers. You will engage with dealership management to understand specific needs, customize the system accordingly, and train key personnel on its usage. When not on-site, you will support existing customers, prepare for upcoming trips, and conduct follow-ups from your home office.
Training Program
The initial training period lasts 2-3 months, incorporating departmental observations, classroom instruction, and on-the-job mentorship. This training covers product knowledge and automotive dealership operations. You will specialize in a software area, assist with customer setup and implementation, and observe Reynolds' solutions in action at client dealerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel 80% of the time.
- Outgoing, friendly personality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license with limited violations, and no recent OVI/DUI/DWI.
- Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
