About the role
Product Test Engineer
The Product Test Engineer role is to maintain the respective project successfully throughout the whole testing process, taking care of ICT, Flashing, EOL, and FCT.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop testers with support from the supplier and in-house Test Development Team.
- Develop Automated Test Equipment (ATEs) individually if required.
- Create complete Product Test Specifications for new projects.
- Understand customer-given Test Specifications for Test and Measurements with Automation.
- Strong understanding of Circuit Schematics.
- Knowledge of Automotive Communication Protocols.
- Good knowledge of Advanced Microcontrollers, Analog and Digital Input & Output signals.
- Design In-house ATE/Test developments, FCT, Flashing, and End-of-Line Testers.
- Design In-Circuit Testers fixtures and Flying Probe Program development.
- Support and provide inputs to Test Development Engineers to make Test Fixture Tools and Jigs Design & Development.
- Prepare the test flow and speed up the test development process.
- Create SOP, checklist, and Work Instructions for Various Processes using Production Tools.
- Circuit analysis, Debugging, and Bench Setup skills.
- Proficiency in using Measuring/Sourcing instruments.
