Customer Support Representative I - National Accounts
Join Shorr Packaging as an employee owner and embark on a rewarding career journey! We are seeking a Customer Support Representative I - National Accounts to handle administrative duties for national accounts and customer service, including order entry and research.
Responsibilities
- Respond to tracking inquiries, invoice exceptions, freight exceptions, and other related tasks.
- Back up customer service with sales orders into the computer system, verifying product and price accuracy with the assigned Account Executive.
- Send acknowledgements to fulfill customer delivery dates.
- Expedite orders and verify proof of deliveries.
- Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve customer concerns and questions, documenting all communication and results in customer computer files.
- Communicate relevant information to the assigned multi-location Account Executive.
- Collect necessary information for new customer setup, including credit applications, sales tax certificates, and ship-to information.
- Communicate special account requirements to other departments.
- Investigate customer requests for returns and damaged goods, and follow up on credits.
- Set up and maintain customer files electronically.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1+ years of related experience and/or training.
- Knowledge of logistics, including carriers, shipping policies, and procedures is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $23 – $25 per hour.
