Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and perform daily construction duties to ensure quality construction for expedited commercial deployment of services.
- Oversee subcontractors and job site personnel to complete assigned scopes of work.
- Inspect and approve all subcontractor work and coordinate with local authorities for required inspections.
- Plan, prioritize, and mobilize staff, materials, and subcontractors to meet project schedules, while keeping the Construction Supervisor informed of progress and concerns.
- Identify all necessary materials and resources, coordinate their delivery, and ensure they meet construction schedules.
- Compile and ensure completion of construction "punch list" items prior to customer inspection and finalize all inspections to close projects.
- Assign tasks to crew members and perform civil or tower construction activities, including stacking towers, testing, positioning antennas, installing antennas, and running coax.
- Ensure assigned tasks are completed in a timely and high-quality manner, and train/assist employees in task completion.
- Professionally interact with client representatives and maintain/enforce SBA and OSHA safety practices, including daily jobsite safety inspections and immediate stoppage of unsafe work.
- Must be available to work overtime, including Saturdays, Sundays, and evening hours, and complete all SBA's Tower U training classes.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of tower construction experience, including the ability to read blueprints, details, and specifications.
- Knowledge of Test Equipment (Sweep, PIM & Fiber) and certifications in each, plus knowledge of standard knots.
- Alternatively, 2+ years of tower construction background with NWSA/TTT-1 Certification (written and practical) and 1+ years of leadership experience.
- English Language Fluency Required.
- Physical ability to climb to heights of up to 500 feet.
- Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Domestic Travel required 90% of the time and ability to operate a company vehicle at the CMV level.
- Valid Government Issued Driver's License and MDOT Medical Physical Required.

- Work is performed outdoors with exposure to weather conditions, risk of electrical shock and radiation, near mechanical parts, and in high, precarious places with very loud noise levels.
