Remote Staff Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior or Staff Software Engineer to contribute to our innovative web-based CRM for financial advisors and wealth managers. About the Role
As a Remote Staff Software Engineer, you will partner with experienced Rails developers, implement core functionalities, and prototype/ship AI features using LLMs and APIs. You will make significant architectural decisions, build and maintain full-stack components, and collaborate closely with technical product teams to create user-centric features. Our engineering team is distributed across the country, fostering a remote-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement core functionalities using Ruby on Rails.
- Prototype, ship, and launch AI features using LLMs and APIs.
- Build and deploy integrations to expand CRM functionality.
- Make architectural decisions for the next generation of our tech stack.
- Build and maintain components in React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with technical product teams on custom user experiences.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, IAM, VPC, S3).
- Experience with React.
- Experience developing full-stack applications with agentic AI.
- Interest in AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, V0, or Replit.
