What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 6–10+ years of accounting experience, including significant revenue accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
- Experience managing complex customer contracts and revenue arrangements
- Strong understanding of month-end and quarter-end close processes, reconciliations, and internal controls
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in a SaaS / subscription-based technology company
- Strong understanding of SaaS revenue models, including subscription, usage-based, and professional services arrangements
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, particularly SuiteBilling and revenue-related functionality
- Experience implementing, optimizing, or scaling revenue recognition processes and systems
- CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
