What you need
- 2+ years of experience in vehicle exterior bumpers, fascia, Class A components and/or trim mechanical areas
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or relevant engineering field
- Exterior systems technical skills/expertise with a 1st principles approach to problem solving
- Demonstrated experience in solving complex technical challenges in product design and development
- Computer aided design (CAD) tools experience, including CATIA V5/V6
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including GD&T, material selection, and design for manufacturing
Nice to have
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools, including Teamcenter
- Familiarity with design and engineering considerations for high-volume automotive production
- Computer aided engineering (CAE) awareness and/or direct experience
