About this role

As a Dimensional Quality Engineer at Neuralink, you will be responsible for overseeing the programming, fixturing, and measurement processes of the CMM fleet, ensuring high-quality standards for incoming parts and in-house machined components. What you need

  • 3+ years (mid) or 7+ years (senior) of hands-on CMM experience on bridge CMMs and portable arms in a production or precision-manufacturing environment
  • Strong CMM programming skills in at least one of: PC-DMIS, Calypso, PolyWorks, Verisurf, or comparable
  • Deep, working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T applied to small, complex, tight-tolerance parts
  • Experience reviewing AS9102 / PPAP-style first-article documentation and writing clear, actionable NCRs
  • Fixturing instinct and ability to specify or build simple fixtures
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

  • Background in aerospace, defense, medical device, semiconductor, or precision robotics
  • Hands-on experience with CT / X-ray inspection, optical CMM, structured-light scanning, or laser trackers
  • Demonstrated history of training other operators and writing SOPs
  • Familiarity with ISO 17025 lab practices, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820
  • Programming and scripting fluency (Python, basic VBA / macros, or DMIS scripting)
