About this role

As the Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) Manager at Giga, you will lead the EHS&S function at the Houston manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations. Your responsibilities will include developing safety programs, managing incident investigations, overseeing environmental compliance, and maintaining physical security protocols. What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1910 General Industry standards, including electrical safety, LOTO, and crane/material handling requirements
  • Experience managing environmental compliance programs in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience developing and leading physical security programs, or a demonstrated ability to take on this responsibility
  • Strong incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective action skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with electrical equipment manufacturing, testing, or transformer/dielectric fluid handling
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or similar certification
  • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification; NFPA 70E qualified electrical worker training
  • Experience with security system administration (access control, CCTV) or prior security management background
