About this role
As the Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) Manager at Giga, you will lead the EHS&S function at the Houston manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations. What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1910 General Industry standards, including electrical safety, LOTO, and crane/material handling requirements
- Experience managing environmental compliance programs in a manufacturing setting
- Experience developing and leading physical security programs, or a demonstrated ability to take on this responsibility
- Strong incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective action skills
Nice to have
- Experience with electrical equipment manufacturing, testing, or transformer/dielectric fluid handling
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or similar certification
- OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification; NFPA 70E qualified electrical worker training
- Experience with security system administration (access control, CCTV) or prior security management background
