About the Senior Implementation Consultant Role at Zycus

Zycus is actively seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant with robust domain expertise in P2P / S2P / Procure-to-Pay / Source-to-Pay / Procurement. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on configuration experience with leading Procurement Software such as Ariba, Coupa, Zycus, Ivalua, GEP SMART, or Jaggaer. A solid understanding of both upstream and downstream modules is essential. Candidates previously working as Solution Consultant, Functional Consultant, Solution Architect, or Pre-Sales Consultant are highly preferred. Prior consulting experience in implementing or managing Cloud Procurement Suites will also be a significant advantage.

Role & Responsibilities

Configuration & Solution Design

• Configure procurement modules (Upstream and Downstream) across P2P/S2P/CLM suites like Ariba, Coupa, Zycus, Ivalua, GEP SMART, Jaggaer, and similar platforms.
• Translate complex business requirements into functional configurations and accurately document all configuration settings.
• Define, configure, and validate workflows, approval hierarchies, master data, reporting dashboards, and critical integrations with ERP/financial systems.
• Perform comprehensive system demonstrations, functional testing, and ensure all configurations precisely meet client requirements.
• Provide expert configuration guidance and support during enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing production support activities.

Implementation & Delivery

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of cloud procurement projects, encompassing design, testing, reporting, training, and crucial post-go-live support.
• Help customers maintain focus on their strategic goals, driving the implementation process towards successful and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate effectively with both onsite engagement teams and client teams to meticulously gather requirements, develop detailed work plans, determine expectations, and finalize all deliverables.
• Ensure the highest quality project delivery for engagements led personally and those executed by direct reportees.

Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a functional subject matter expert in Source-to-Pay processes, including supplier onboarding, requisitioning, sourcing, contracting, invoicing, and payables.
• Manage business process mapping, process re-engineering initiatives, and thorough gap analysis. Recommend clear opportunities for streamlining, consolidating, and optimizing processes.
• Collaborate effectively with functional and technical teams on business needs, applications, and integration with strategic plans.
• Act as a dedicated customer advocate within Zycus for issue resolution, functionality enhancements, and feature prioritization.
• Recommend strategic roadmaps to close performance gaps and develop high-level implementation plans.

Pre-Sales & Support

• Support various pre-sales activities, including responding to RFPs and participating in client orals.
• Handle S2P production support and enhancement activities, liaising directly with business process owners to validate change requests and recommend best practices.
• Identify recurring issue patterns and collaborate with product management/engineering teams for robust system resolutions.

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of consulting experience in S2P/P2P solutions with IT organizations, consulting firms, or software providers.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring Cloud Procurement Suites (Ariba, Coupa, Zycus, Ivalua, GEP SMART, Jaggaer, or similar).
• Proven expertise in solution configuration: workflows, approval hierarchies, master data, reporting dashboards, and ERP/financial system integrations.
• Experience in configuring and delivering product demonstrations and managing end-to-end software implementations.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes (upstream & downstream) including sourcing, contracting, supplier management, requisitioning, invoicing, and payments.
• Domain expertise in CLM, Supplier Management, Category Management, Spend Analysis, and Procurement Digitalization.
• Proven ability to facilitate knowledge transfer and translate complex technical concepts into clear business benefits.
• Exceptional client engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated experience in change management (MOC), business process re-engineering, and gap analysis.
• Track record of delivering successful, timely, and high-quality software implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification(s) in leading procurement suites (Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Zycus, GEP SMART, Jaggaer, etc.).
• Exposure to global procurement transformations and multi-region implementations.
• Experience working in an Agile/SaaS environment with cross-functional teams.
