Overview
Zwicker & Associates, P.C., a national creditor rights law firm, is seeking a Legal Assistant to provide legal administrative onsite support in Garden City, New York. This role involves managing legal documents, analyzing and processing data, and supporting attorneys and office managers.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and process data to ensure proper workflow.
- Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys and office managers.
- Utilize internal software to update account statuses.
- Prepare documentation for attorney review and file pleadings.
- Answer incoming calls and communicate with team members.
- Comply with standard operating procedures and maintain work quality.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
Candidates must have strong organizational skills, proficient computer skills (especially Microsoft Office and Excel), excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and a professional attitude. Preferred candidates have knowledge of civil litigation procedures, rules of evidence, and previous legal or banking administrative experience.
