Role Overview
The Business Development Specialist supports business planning through data collection, sales funnel development, and analysis. This role involves assisting Plumbing and Mechanical and MRO Reps with takeoff quotes, monitoring market trends, and collaborating with application engineering and product development teams to introduce new product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop strategic relationships with partners and potential customers.
- Develop a strong sales pipeline through customer contact and prospecting.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams on business initiatives.
- Review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and provide quotations.
- Maintain and update product line funnels and support strategic planning projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in business, finance, or marketing.
- 2-4 years of inside sales/customer care experience, preferably in commercial plumbing products.
- Candidate must be located in Colorado, ideally Denver area.
- Up to 75% travel within the west coast region.
- Experience with analytical tools, including Excel and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and versatile.
