What to Expect as a Senior Underwriter Liability Large
- You will manage new and existing client business in the Liability Large International sector.
- You will independently oversee and manage your assigned broker and client relationships within the Liability division, working closely with sales.
- As an all-rounder in the Liability area, you will actively participate in projects, contributing your ideas with your profound insurance expertise.
- You will diligently maintain databases and systems for contract management and report to the Liability Manager on your portfolio, budget figures, or assigned tasks.
- You will share your expertise in internal and external training and sales events.
- You will collaborate closely with Underwriting Service, Claims, Sales & Distribution, and Risk Engineering to support complex client relationships.
What You Bring
- Personality: We are looking for an analytical, independently-minded individual with strong customer affinity and business acumen.
- Education & Experience: You hold a degree as a Diplom-Betriebswirt, Diplom-Kaufmann, Jurist, or Diplom-Wirtschaftsjurist with relevant professional experience; alternatively, you impress us with your insurance-specific training and several years of professional experience.
- Expertise: You possess excellent product and underwriting knowledge in all liability products for industrial companies, as well as experience with multinational insurance programs. Meeting individual requirements is your driving force.
- International & Analytical Skills: You have sound experience in international insurance business and comprehensive knowledge in corporate and financial analysis.
This position is IDD-relevant. The Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) applies to all persons involved in the distribution of insurance. Upon hiring, in accordance with § 48 VAG, we require your declaration regarding your reliability and financial standing, as well as proof of your adequate qualification.
