Overview
The Compliance Expert role at Zurich Insurance involves working within the second line of defense to ensure compliance with evolving laws and regulations. The role focuses on assurance, risk assessments, Customer Facing Conduct, and Prevention of Financial Crime.
Responsibilities
- Support business areas with risk assessments and compliance evaluations.
- Advise on process and control implementation for new regulations.
- Provide specialized support for Customer Facing Conduct and crime prevention.
- Execute assurance activities as per the annual Compliance plan.
- Follow up on agreed actions to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Contribute to governance, reporting, and development of training programs.
- Collaborate with EMEA and Group teams on compliance frameworks.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable or experienced in Audit, Legal or Compliance, holds a degree in Law, Economics, or Business, and is familiar with policies and regulatory processes. Strong analytical, planning, and writing skills are crucial. Proficiency in English and competence in Excel along with adaptability to new tools are required; experience with data analytics is a plus.
