About the Director, AI & Insights Role

Zoox is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Applied AI & Insights to lead our enterprise-wide transformation through data and artificial intelligence. This role focuses on driving AI-powered productivity across business functions and building a world-class business intelligence capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and deployment of AI platforms for core business functions.
  • Identify and implement off-the-shelf AI agents to streamline operations.
  • Architect scalable BI and analytics infrastructure for strategic reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align data solutions with business needs.
  • Manage and grow a high-performing team of AI, data, and analytics professionals.

Qualifications

Proven experience in AI/ML initiatives and data-driven transformations in a complex business environment along with strong technical expertise in AI/ML, data architecture, and analytics platforms. Must understand enterprise operations across Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, and Supply Chain and have a track record of building and managing technical teams.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with GenAI tools or Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance decision-making or automate workflows.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary ranges from $363,000 to $436,000 a year, with additional components including RSUs, Stock Appreciation Rights, and a possible sign-on bonus. Comprehensive benefits include various types of paid and unpaid time off, as well as insurance options.
