What You Can Expect as a Zoom AI DevOps Engineer
As a Zoom AI DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and managing the AWS infrastructure that underpins Zoom's cutting-edge AI services. You'll leverage Terraform to implement robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, significantly streamlining automation processes. A core part of your role involves continuous system monitoring, managing on-call rotations, and proactively ensuring the high reliability of critical systems. You will foster collaboration with various cross-functional teams to boost performance and provide expert guidance to engineers on automation best practices. Please note that this role includes essential on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend deployments as required to maintain operational excellence.
About The Team
The team is a driving force behind automation, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and cloud-native operations, all crucial for powering Zoom’s innovative AI services. We are responsible for service deployment and operations across diverse multi-cloud and on-premises environments. You will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting, working closely with Developers, Infrastructure Engineers, and Product teams to build and maintain resilient, high-performing systems that directly impact Zoom's product offerings.
What We’re Looking For
- Have 5+ years of work experience as a Cloud or DevOps engineer.
- Possess 5+ hands-on experience working on Production service deployments using Kubernetes.
- Demonstrate experience with AWS services and Kubernetes-based production deployments.
- Be proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management tools (Ansible).
- Show proven experience in Kubernetes, Docker workload deployment, and monitoring for large-scale distributed systems deployed on production environments.
- Exhibit high proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
