What You Can Expect
As a member of the Network Automation team at Zoom, you will develop and maintain the systems and tools that support Zoom’s data center networks. Your work will ensure performance, availability, and security across our infrastructure.
About The Team
You will join a team that builds and manages tooling to deliver reliable, high performance networks across Zoom's data centers worldwide. You will work closely with multiple teams ensuring proper management of our data centers. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, goal-oriented, and team-focused engineer with experience in networking, coding, and system infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop new tooling, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines for network management.
- Utilize infrastructure as code frameworks for network and monitoring configurations.
- Collaborate with network and data center engineers for system updates.
- Develop and publish metrics and dashboards for network health.
- Design frameworks for data center management, including inventory and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot system and tooling failures to ensure reliability.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Network Automation Engineer.
- At least 2 years with networking device configurations (Juniper, Arista, Cisco).
- Strong knowledge of IP, TCP, UDP, and BGP protocols.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Solarwinds, Zabbix, or Nagios.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Programming proficiency in Python and Go.
Salary Information
Salary range is between $98,900 and $228,700 with total direct compensation including bonus and equity.
