What You Can Expect
In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of Deal Desk analysts and senior analysts at Zoom. You will partner with Sales leaders and business stakeholders to structure and execute complex deals, serving as the primary point of escalation for non-standard deals. Your work will directly impact the success of the Sales organization and Zoom’s business goals.
About The Team
The Deal Desk team at Zoom is a central part of our Go-To-Market Finance organization. They focus on deal support, enablement, and governance by partnering with Sales and cross-functional teams to structure, review, and optimize complex deals.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of Deal Desk analysts supporting high-quality deal execution.
- Partnering with Sales and other teams to structure complex commercial proposals.
- Reviewing and approving non-standard deal terms with pricing and revenue guidance.
- Serving as the escalation point for complex deals and ensuring momentum.
- Collaborating to identify process improvements to accelerate sales and mitigate risk.
- Working with Sales Operations & Enablement to develop region-specific training.
- Analyzing deal trends, KPIs, and forecasts to inform leadership decisions.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or relevant field (MBA or Big 4 ideal).
- 6-8+ yrs of experience in Deal Desk or similar roles leading teams.
- Expertise in deal economics, commercial agreements, revenue accounting, and ASC 606.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and CPQ or similar quoting tools.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Salary & Compensation
The salary range is from $126,500 to $276,700 with additional bonus and equity value. Starting pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Note that compensation may vary based on location.
