About The Role

The CX AI Sales Specialist is a customer-focused pre-sales professional responsible for understanding customer goals, identifying AI opportunities, and designing intelligent customer journeys that deliver measurable outcomes. You will collaborate with Account Executives, CX Specialists, Solution Consultants, and Forward Deployed Engineers to shape AI-driven customer experiences through discovery, design, and value articulation.

What You’ll Do

  • Run pre-sales discovery sessions and workshops.
  • Map current and future customer journeys with AI enhancements.
  • Translate customer insights into solution recommendations and design concepts.
  • Define pilot scope, success metrics, and phased rollout strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales, solution consultants, and engineers.
  • Enable sales teams with consultative, value-based selling techniques.
  • Create tailored proposals and presentations connecting AI to business outcomes.
  • Ensure seamless design handoff to post-sales and Professional Services teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Enablement teams.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Expertise in conversational, generative, and agentic AI.
  • Proven experience in pre-sales solution design or CX consulting.
  • Ability to articulate technical AI concepts into business value.
  • Strong understanding of virtual agent technologies.
  • Excellent facilitation, storytelling, and consultative communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales methodologies.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years in CX, AI, or automation solution sales.
  • 3+ years in Contact Center or Virtual Agent solution design.
  • Experience leading customer workshops, journey mapping, and AI opportunity assessments.

Salary & Compensation

Salary range is from $174,500.00 to $389,400.00 with a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that includes base salary, bonus, and equity. Compensation varies based on location and qualifications.
