Position Overview

The Desktop Support Engineer L1 provides advanced technical support to end-users. This role is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex desktop issues while assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent end-user technical support for desktop systems.
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, and peripheral issues.
  • Install, configure and maintain computer systems per company policies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and operating system updates.
  • Assist with data backup operations and resolution of technical problems.

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years of IT support experience with focus on desktop engineering or support.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS installation, BitLocker encryption, basic network and hardware troubleshooting.
  • At least 6 months' experience with the SNOW ticketing tool is mandatory.
  • Experience with Apple products is a plus.
