Position Overview
The Desktop Support Engineer L1 provides advanced technical support to end-users. This role is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex desktop issues while assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent end-user technical support for desktop systems.
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and peripheral issues.
- Install, configure and maintain computer systems per company policies.
- Perform routine maintenance and operating system updates.
- Assist with data backup operations and resolution of technical problems.
What You Will Bring To The Team
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2-3 years of IT support experience with focus on desktop engineering or support.
- Proficiency with Windows OS installation, BitLocker encryption, basic network and hardware troubleshooting.
- At least 6 months' experience with the SNOW ticketing tool is mandatory.
- Experience with Apple products is a plus.
