Role Overview

The Product Designer role at Zivian Health is fast-paced and hands-on. You will be embedded in product cycles, collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers to shape, build, and iterate user experiences that address real-world healthcare challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Discovery Design with PMs to visualize problem spaces and user flows.
  • Participate in Shape Up: Co-create briefs and define solution boundaries.
  • Design for Velocity: Deliver high-fidelity, production-ready designs.
  • Own the User Experience: Craft intuitive, accessible user experiences across platforms.
  • Collaborate Deeply with Engineering: Clarify interactions and technical feasibility.
  • Validate in Reality: Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback.
  • Contribute to the Design System: Evolve consistent visual and interaction patterns.
  • Uphold the Shape Up Ethos: Deliver on scope with impact.
  • Post-Launch Learning: Participate in reviews to improve design iterations.

What You’ll Bring

A minimum of 3–6 years of experience designing for SaaS or complex web products, with a strong portfolio covering end-to-end product design. Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools) and solid understanding of UX design principles, systems thinking, and accessibility is essential. Experience with analytics tools is a plus.

Bonus Points

  • Healthcare UX and provider workflow experience.
  • Familiarity with component-based design systems and front-end frameworks.
  • Experience with the Shape Up methodology or lean/agile cycles.

Work Arrangement & Location

This is a fractional hourly role based in the US, with work required during US Eastern and US Central hours. Flexibility in work location is offered.
