About the Maintenance Lead Role
As the Maintenance Lead, you will own day-to-day aircraft maintenance execution, ensuring high availability and operational readiness of our fleet. You will lead a team of technicians and shift leads, optimize work scheduling, manage the return-to-service pipeline, and enforce rigorous shop floor standards.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop maintenance technicians and shift leads.
- Deliver aircraft turnaround, uptime, and daily work execution.
- Execute maintenance schedules and optimize shift coverage.
- Manage backlog, return-to-service pipeline, and inspections.
- Oversee aircraft receiving, conformity checks, and documentation.
- Enforce shop floor SOPs, productivity targets, and safety protocols.
- Align staffing plans with operational needs and site growth.
- Ensure accurate documentation of test aircraft modifications.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years in aviation maintenance or related technical leadership.
- Proven track record in managing maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of aviation maintenance standards and safety regulations.
- Experience in managing work pipelines and optimizing scheduling.
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and technician development skills.
- Operational discipline in managing KPIs, SOPs, and accountability.
- Flexibility to support shift operations and changes in a scaling environment.

- Aircraft downtime reduction.
- Site uptime and turnaround performance.
- Improved technician productivity and training rates.
- Effective shift execution and minimized escalation rates.

Compensation and Benefits
The starting cash range for this role is $115,000 to $135,000, based on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation components include equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, PTO, and more).
