Overview
As an Enterprise Solution Engineer at Zip, you are the primary pre-sales technical point of contact for the Zip solution suite. You help prospects understand how Zip delivers value, integrate with their procurement and technical landscape, and champion the solution to close deals.
Your Role
You will partner with account executives and sales managers to drive deals to closure by demonstrating our application, addressing technical questions, and providing solutions. You are a trusted advisor who translates customer needs to our post-sales team for successful deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support customer-facing conversations, demos, and discovery sessions.
- Respond to customer inquiries including demos, RFx, and IT security questionnaires.
- Build custom demos and partner with post-sales for POCs.
- Collaborate with Sales and Post-Sales teams for smooth transitions.
- Provide feedback to improve products and sales processes.
Qualifications
5+ years in solution selling or similar roles, with experience selling to F500 clients and C-level executives. Strong discovery skills, familiarity with procurement and billing/AP space, technical troubleshooting skills, and expertise in software integrations and APIs are essential. A self-starter with a solutioning mindset is required.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with ERPs, CLMs, GRC, procurement, or AP automation platforms.
- Integration or development experience with REST APIs and middleware tools.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $210,000 OTE, determined by factors like location, experience, and skills. Benefits include startup equity, full health/vision/dental coverage, commuter benefits, team events, unlimited PTO, Apple equipment with home office budget, and a 401k plan.
